Introduction:
Nippon Paint 300 High Temperature Finish is a silicone based coating which can withstand continuous temperature up to 1000 degree Celsius. Nippon 300 provides excellent protection for exhaust manifolds furnaces, boiler, chimneys and other installations exposed to extreme temperatures.Physical Characteristics of paintColor: Green, Aluminum, Red and limited color range.Texture: Aluminum - metallic aluminum lusterSpecific Gravity: 0.98~ 1.35, depending on color.Volume Solid: 40%

Recommendation for use:
Nippon 300 High Temperature Finish would not normally be applied directly to steel surface and would only be consider where corrosion problems were insignificant but decoration important. The surface should be free of rust, grease, oil and other contaminants. It should be wire brushed to minimum St 3 Swedish Standard SIS 05 5900. Priming with Nippon Inorganic Zinc Coating to thickness of 25 ~ 50 microns dry film thickness is recommended.Recommended Film: 20 ~ 30 microns for dry filmThickness per coat : 50 ~ 75 microns for wet filmTheoretical Coverage at recommended film thickness : 20m2/litre (for dry film thickness of 20 microns)13.3m 2/litre (for dry film thickness of 30 microns)Application methods : Brush, roller and compressed air spray.

ThinningReady for use after thorough stirring. Where thinning is necessary for improving workability, use about 5% thinner by volume for application by brush and roller and 10 ~ 15% for application by compressed air spray.
Drying time at 25 to 30 degree Celsius: dry to touch 1/2 hour.
